THIS WEEK'S CARD: THE LOVERS .....

This is so strange... as this is the card and advice i got this week....and this question came with the card....

Have you ever had a situation in your love life when you were faced with a choice and found it really difficult to know who to choose or what to do?? Perhaps you’re facing such a dilemma at this moment in time?

I thought I’d address this particular issue today, as so many of our visitors here at Lotus are looking for guidance from the Tarot in such a situation.

The Lovers card is the card to look out for in your readings; it represents a time of choice and dilemma that could have a significant impact on your life.

You may be faced with a choice between suitors or lovers, or whether to stay in a relationship/marriage or leave, and when it comes to affairs of the heart, knowing which is the right choice can be very difficult indeed.

The Lovers card signifies intimate relationships and physical attraction to another, and it’s also about struggling with temptation and establishing who or what you really care about.

The emotion and desire associated with this card is powerful and represents deep love. Sometimes it may not refer to intimate relationships but to a force that draws two entities together - people, ideas, events or groups.

The Lovers signifies a tough decision and is symbolic of the need to overcome temptation when at a crossroads in your life. This card suggests a need to maintain a firm belief in yourself, and trust that your own moral values and principles will show you the right path, even when intoxicating forces are tempting you to take the wrong one.

Maturity and integrity are needed, as temptation to opt for the ‘easier’ or ‘most exciting’ option may lead to hurt and disappointment. However, The Lovers card suggests that sometimes in life, taking a risk can promise greater reward in love.

You may feel trapped and unhappy in a loveless relationship or marriage and want to leave, yet you fear taking the risk. However, letting go of a relationship that brings no pleasure allows you to be free to attract new love into your life. This is a risk that could well bring you greater love and joy.

The risk or temptation that may not always prove so positive is indulging in a sexual affair when married or in a committed relationship. It’s true that sometimes we fall out of love with our spouse or partner and in love with someone else, and such choices can lead to new and more fulfilling relationships, but such temptation can often lead to trouble. Only you can be the judge of whether your choices are right for you.

That’s easier said than done you might say!!! Of course you’re right! That’s why The Lovers card represents a dilemma, a time of choice that could have a major impact on your life.

So when this card comes up in your reading and you have a significant choice to make, look to your heart and core values to help guide you to the right decision.

A lot of things in life never make sense, a lot of things we do in life never seem to make sense.. but later on when you have put the puzzle together and look at the whole picture it is amazing what the picture tells you and you beginning to realise that putting the puzzle together, had to come with difficulty, confession and trust in your self, that the pieces you were laying down, would eventually tell the whole story.
The day that, i picked up the phone to call u, and some how got talking about why things had been done in the way they had been and in some way vent my anger at a situation , that i think had been sitting at the back of my head for a while, as promises had been made to me, that have never been fulfilled. i never thought i would get the negative response have been getting in the past few mths.
As friends, i think you should get as good as you give, thus, if you feel that you are not getting what you give i feel you can express the way you are feeling. i feel i had issues with two major things, maybe said in the wrong way, but i need to put across the way i was feeling. Being humans, sometimes when things are said, no matter how they are said we tend to take it with in our stride or ignore it, either nor , leaving us to react how it suits us.
You know i have been having major issues with the way you have treated the whole situation, as i feel that our really great friendship has been compromised by me raising issues i had problems with and i have battled with my conscience, did i do the right thing, how i am i going to get you back.
Saturday night , i called you again in my drunk state.... i just wanted to chat to you as i had missed you and to try again get our friendship back, again my hopes were dashed as you didn't pick up, i cried my self to sleep, not because you didn't pick up, but because the puzzle that had been laid down in front of me had been completed, as the picture it told was of a friendship that had ended....

Fool makes for quite a maverick character, and often this
card can signify such a person, male or female, may step
into your life.

It is your attitude that influences the choices and
decisions you make, and often your mind is so full of doubt
and fear that you become closed-minded to the possibilities
of change.

When The Fool appears, ask yourself how open-minded you are
being at that moment in time, how enthusiastic are you
about life, and do you desire new experiences and
excitement but fear taking that first step?

Any journey starts with the first step, and motivating
yourself to take it is the hardest part. The Fool
encourages you to discover your inner child and harness
that youthful enthusiasm to help you on your way to a new
life and future.

A time to exercise caution is when The Fool comes up as the
first card in a reading for you. You may want to question
your motives or judgment, since as this is the first card,
it can indicate folly. Perhaps you are motivated for the
wrong reasons, so look before you leap.

You will have to deal with many twists and turns, paths and
crossroads on your life journey and The Fool can help as a
sign post when you need to take a new path.

Funy how life works..... you sit, in trouble, but no one out there will ever take the time to help you. you help so many people, but for them to actually realise you need help, it is like you are being such a burden to them, but everyday.... they come asking for your help and guess what they run a mile. your problem not mine..... Guess what it all comes right in the end.............

I suppose this is where my story should begins.....Had a friend who i did the world for , the mintue i asked.... things changed, some times in life you cannot always give, some times you the giver will want back what the other person is recieving at the same price. You learn in many ways that things you expected are not the same that people will do for you. After 12 years you learn and understand different aspects to people you thought you had known..........

I don't know being in the middle if you had the choice to choose where u want to be.... would you choose.....to be the most beautiful and have everything or to be just.....locked in that house of yours.... are u able to choose what u are to be , decide what u want to do .... guess what in a different way we all need to make those choices.. be it closed up or not

My sister in law...... ex.... no my sister in law has just sent an email telling us that her wedding is at the end of the month. We are happy.... BUT SO HARD TO LET GO, but at the same time, we don't want her to sit and be lonely ( My brother got killed in a car crash)..... you have to let go. there are things that u learn in life ... some things don't choose or want to know, but u get put in situtations that u would never think you would be in.... u love and hate things u would never do.....u keep asking ur self why..... there is never an answer that explains it. u can wish , u can hope, and want.... guess what.....we all are left with such different realities... and never trusting what we are born to believe....
